About me

I am a PhD student affiliated in the (UN)adaptive Mind Lab at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

My research focuses on the underpinnings of information seeking and decision making. To address research questions like “How do individuals decide whether to seek or avoid information?”, I use computational modelling and neuroimaging methods. More specifically, I utilise reinforcement learning frameworks to fit different parameters from human behavioural data and test the links between those parameters and personal traits, brain areas, and neurotransmitters. By doing so, we aim to support the development of intervention methods, including behavioural training and pharmacological treatment, to protect us from anxiety, depression, and mental health damage caused by the overwhelming modern world.

Besides, I am deeply interested in social neuroscience. I am interested in social media use and other topics including Cooperation and Competition, Social Identity, and Political Psychology.
